A fire alarm is the first line of defence: the system detects signs of fire (smoke, heat, open flame) at the earliest stage and alerts people and the duty services before the situation becomes dangerous.
What the work includes:
— site survey and choice of detectors for each type of room (smoke, heat, manual call points);
— design of detection loops and sounder layout;
— installation and commissioning of the control panel equipment;
— signal transmission to the security or duty desk and, if needed, integration with warning and fire suppression systems;
— maintenance and scheduled functional checks.
Each system is designed individually for the floor area, use of the premises and fire safety regulations.
